What is BNI really all about?

There are four main things that make up what BNI is all about.

  1. The Business Generated.
    Like any good form of marketing – it has to generate you business!
  2. The Structure and Learning.
    This means there is no time wasting and you can promote your business effectively. We all receive many opportunities to enhance our professional skills already included as part of our membership fees.
  3. The Relationships.
    Because we meet weekly, we build great relationships – building TRUST in each other.
  4. The Teamwork.
    We are a friendly bunch and we are all committed to helping each other building fantastic camaraderie, and we have FUN whilst we are doing it!

But what is it that makes all of this possible?

That is down to BNI’s underlying philosophy – ‘Givers Gain’. “If I give you business, you will want to give me business.” Now of course this doesn’t have to mean between the members in the Chapter (although naturally this happens too). Rather that you have taken the time to build a relationship with someone to the stage where not only do you feel comfortable recommending them to your contacts, colleagues and friends; but also you believe in them and their business enough to spend time actively looking for business opportunities for them.

Getting the most out of BNI, like anything, is all about the amount of effort you are willing to put in! Work hard and simply put… it will pay off in the end! #GiversGain
